Grape cultivation is thriving in Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture.
Cultivation began about 280 years ago, and 100 years ago Osaka Prefecture had the largest grape-cultivating area in Japan.Even today, there are many grape farms and direct sales stores in Kashiwara, as well as many long-established wineries that make wine using grapes grown on their own premises.
They are promoting the development of related products such as sweets made using grapes and wine from Kashiwara City, and we are also focusing on product development using grapes from Kashiwara and linking up with them, proposing them as "Kashiwara souvenirs."
